Yolanda Yong

Head of Renewables and Energy Transition

Yolanda’s practice focusses on the placement of transactional risk products in energy M&A globally together with HWF’s other specialists. Yolanda enjoys working with a range of clients, including corporates (developers, utilities), institutional investors, and PE funds using her experience to help them navigate the placement of transactional risk insurance policies in this sector.

Yolanda has spent a decade practising as an energy transactional lawyer advising on a wide range of transactions in the sector. She qualified into the Ashurst energy and infrastructure team and then worked at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in the M&A and PE practice focusing on renewable energy transactions. She spent almost a year on secondment to an offshore wind farm and has been ranked as a Rising Star in M&A in the Legal 500.
