Sam Hopkins

Analyst

Since joining HWF, Sam has supported with the placement and structuring of W&I policies in a variety of sectors, with a particular focus on technology and renewable energy assets. He has worked with clients based in the UK, mainland Europe and the Middle East. Sam has a working knowledge of French, and previously assisted with the underwriting of several W&I policies for France-based clients before joining HWF.

Prior to joining HWF, Sam spent just over a year working as an underwriting assistant at a key insurer within the W&I market, during which he gained first hand experience of the underwriting process and worked with clients across the UK and Europe. A graduate of the University of Edinburgh, Sam previously worked within the communications and marketing team of a global insurer before moving into W&I insurance.
