Rebecca Wynne

Rebecca is a founder of HWF Partners and recognized as one of the leading brokers in the M&A insurance marketplace. She has significant experience in structuring W&I policies and specialist bespoke policies for complex situations. In addition, Rebecca is responsible for the operational management of HWF.

Recent Experience

Rebecca’s recent experience includes:

  • Working with key clients and partners TowerBrook Capital Partners L.P. and Sidley Austin , in structuring a W&I policy for the controlling equity investment of CarTrawler.
  • Placing a buy-side W&I policy for Mayfair Equity Partners ‘s acquisition of Seraphine, one the world’s leading maternity wear brands, from Bridgepoint. Involved on both sides of the transaction, working with key advisory partners Mishcon de Reya (acting for Bridgepoint), and then Goodwin (acting for Mayfair).
  • Working with Aker Horizons and Slaughter and May in structuring a W&I policy for the €1 billion acquisition of Mainstream Renewable Power.
  • Working with key advisory partners, Dentons to place a multi-layered W&I policy for Optima Investments Ltd on their more than €1 billion acquisition of an indirect controlling stake in Globe Trade Centre S.A, a Polish company trading on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
  • Assisting OTB S.p.A, international fashion group with a unique portfolio of iconic fashion houses, in the procurement of a buyer W&I policy in respect of their acquisition of Jil Sander.

Prior to HWF, Rebecca was a senior member of the Marsh transactional risk team where she was one of the pioneering members of the transactional risk market and helped drive the development of M&A insurance across Europe.
