Raissa’s practice specializes in the placement of W&I insurance on UK, European and international private equity and M&A transactions. Raissa has placed numerous policies for a range of clients, including corporates, institutional investors, management teams, and private equity investee companies. Raissa has the ability to work in English and Italian language.

Recent Experience

Raissa’s recent experience includes:

Structured a W&I policy for Hillier Nurseries Ltd’s acquisition of Rosebourne Limited. Involvement touched both sides of the transaction, working with Charles Russell Speechlys (sell-side advisors) and Paris Smith LLP (buy-side advisor).

Prior to joining HWF Partners, Raissa spent approximately 4 years as a corporate lawyer with Latham & Watkins. During this time, she advised on all aspects of corporate law, with a particular focus on Italian private equity and M&A transactions, acting primarily for financial sponsors, management teams, and founders.
