Chrystian specializes in the placement of W&I insurance on CEE and international private equity and M&A transactions, having worked for a range of clients, including corporates, institutional investors, management teams, and private equity investee companies.

Recent Experience

Chrystian’s recent experience includes:

Working on structuring the sell-side policy for the acquisition by a major US tech player of a Slovakian tech target.
Working on structuring the buy-side policy for the acquisition of a CEE-based clinical contract research organization by a Singaporean CRO.
Working on the acquisition of app testing company with operations in UK, Poland and Romania by a UK growth PE.
Working for a global logistics player on structuring of a tax policy relating to the risk of reassessment of the VAT on the warehouse real estate sale transaction.
Working on the acquisition by a Romanian distributor of interactive entertainment, gaming software and hardware of a UK retail video game retailer, distributor and publisher.
Working on structuring of a buy-side policy relating to a Polish greenfield solar power acquisition.
Advising the sellers on the sale of a minority stake in the Hungarian luxury fashion house.

Prior to joining HWF, Chrystian spent almost eight years as an M&A lawyer with Baker McKenzie, specializing in corporate law. He advised clients on the M&A, PE and VC transactions, as well as on the cross-border and domestic reorganizations, including from the firm’s offices in Vienna and Zurich.
