Domenico Mogavero

Associate Director

Domenico has over six years of expertise in transactional liability insurance solutions, specializing in W&I policies.

Prior to joining HWF, he led the Italian practice of Paragon’s M&A team, which later integrated into Ardonagh Specialty (which HWF is part of). Before that, he gained further experience in the sector at another leading broker, advising on insuring Italian public and private transactions across diverse industries, delivering tailored solutions for deals ranging from €1 million to €3 billion.

An Italian-qualified lawyer, Domenico was among the first to develop a specialization in M&A insurance in Italy. Before transitioning to insurance, he spent five years advising domestic and international clients on corporate, private equity, and real estate transactions at leading Italian and international law firms.

Domenico now divides his time between London and Milan, leveraging his dual-location presence to support clients with innovative strategies in cross-border M&A transactions.
