Renay is an associate director in HWF’s Dubai office focusing on the placement of W&I insurance on international M&A transactions.

Recent Experience

Renay’s most notable transactions include the following:

RWI policy for the 6-billion-dollar acquisition of the Washington Commanders football team by Joshua Harris’ private equity firm, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment
RWI policy for the acquisition of TruFood by Mubadala Capital
RWI policy for the 2.9-billion-dollar acquisition of Cliff Bar by Mondelez International
RWI policy for the acquisition of 1,171 MW operating solar portfolio by Onward Energy

Prior to joining HWF, Renay served clients as both a broker with Atlantic Global Risk and an insurer with Fusion Underwriting, both based in New York City. Before Renay’s entry into the M&A insurance space, Renay provided clients with tax consulting on M&A transactions and strategic tax planning at KPMG in New York City.

Renay received her Juris Doctorate degree from American University located in Washington, DC. Prior to that, Renay double majored in both History and Arabic and received her degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles.
