Claudia Leon Campos

Claudia is an Associate Director in the Tax Insurance team at HWF. She is a qualified lawyer with over 15 years of experience in international taxation, tax planning and M&A.

During her professional career she has worked with funds, private equities, and numerous multinational companies in a wide range of industries, assisting them in the planning and implementation of investments, restructuring and M&A projects from a tax perspective, and has supported clients with the day-to-day challenges of the tax function by advising on the interpretation and applicability of tax rules. Claudia’s experience includes a specific interest advising clients on international and cross border tax matters.

Prior to joining HWF in 2024, Claudia worked in different private practices in the UK and Colombia.

She holds a master’s degree in law with emphasis on Tax Law, postgraduate studies in Tax Law and International Tax Law, and the Advanced Professional Certification in International Taxation from the IBDF. She speaks and works in English, and Spanish.
